Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Bark Recipe

Hazelnut chocolate happens to be a personal favorite of mine so…  I just couldn’t resist sharing this recipe with you – enjoy this sweet and savory treat when you’re craving a little sweetness and crunch in your life!


Dark Chocolate Bark with Hazelnuts

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooling Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 6-8


Canola oil, for baking pan

8 ounces dark chocolate (at least 70 percent cacao), melted

1/4 cups hazelnuts, blanched and toasted, chopped

1/4 teaspoon flaky sea salt, such as Maldon


1. Lightly brush  an 8-inch square baking pan with oil.  Line with parchment, leaving overhang.

2. Pour in chocolate, and smooth into an even layer with an offset spatula.

3. Sprinkle evenly with hazelnuts and sea salt.  Refrigerate until completely set, about 30 minutes.

4. To serve, peel off parchment, and break into pieces.
