As the summer wanes and we transition into autumn, it is easy to slip back into old habits that may no longer serve us.

Just because the summer is over, doesn’t mean that all of the fun has to end…

Below are some quick and easy guidelines to help keep you healthy and on track.

1. Get Creative

Summer is full of opportunities to be outdoors, travel, relax, and replenish.

Autumn can be a bit more challenging – school schedules kick in, everyone’s back at work, and it can sometimes feel like a grind.

Embrace the possibility of exploring new activities or booking a weekend away here and there – this will help keep you focused, motivated, and refreshed.

2. Stay Active

Now that work is well underway – remember to keep moving!

Cooler temperatures and crisp air make it the perfect time of year to enjoy exercise outdoors.

Remember, when winter rolls around you will be less likely to wake up for a 6am workout!

3. Eat Seasonally

Eating fall specific fruits and vegetables is one of the most powerful ways to help your body transition from summer into autumn and then into winter.

Enjoy the immune boosting properties of apples and the benefits of nutrient rich foods like squash, pumpkin, beets, carrots, potatoes, and cabbage.

Here’s to a healthy fall season!
